Fulcrum has completed in excess of 200 cleanup projects under state or federal environmental standards. The list of contaminants that we have successfully remediated in soil or groundwater is extensive. It includes common petroleum products (gas, diesel, waste oil), as well as chlorinated solvents, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, pesticides (DDT, Dinoseb, lead arsenate), metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), and others.

The Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) administered by the Department of Ecology (Ecology) is the regulatory basis of virtually all environmental cleanups in Washington. We have successfully guided numerous cleanup projects to a determination of "No Further Action" (NFA) from Ecology through the MTCA Voluntary Cleanup Program. We have extensive experience with the Initial Investigation (II) and Independent Remedial Action Program (IRAP) review process as well as Ecology's more formal Consent Order process and Prospective Purchaser Agreements. We have taken several projects initiated under the Dangerous Waste regulations through to NFA conclusions under MTCA standards.
